The location, beach, pool, and two restaurants were all absolute standouts - they were truly excellent.
The pool and beach area were amazing, and our room was large and comfortable.
The hotel's location on Grace Bay beach was stunning, and the abundance of towels was a nice touch.
The hotel's cleanliness and lack of crowds were definite pluses, but unfortunately, our room was a shared suite with no ocean view, which wasn't what we were expecting based on the website.

“Fantastic luxury resort”
We celebrated our anniversary here, giving the stay as a gift to each other, and it turned out to be one of the best gifts ever. The property is beautiful, the pool is really nice, and it’s right on Grace Bay beach. The breakfast was outstanding and included. Parallel 23 restaurant was as good as anything else on the island. It’s pricey, but comparable to other fine dining on the island. I was surprised the hotel offers several free Hobie Cats. The staff were as nice as could be. Tip: renting a car is worth it; if you do, try to get a right‑hand drive one because traffic is on the left (it’s a British Overseas Territory, so what did you expect?). Many rentals are American with left‑hand drive. You might have heard that much of the Caribbean has a serious sargassum problem, a nasty seaweed that washes onto beaches in tons and stinks. If this island has it, it’s almost always on the opposite side of the island from this property, so it was never an issue. We couldn’t stay longer, not the hotel’s fault at all, but: 1. there is so much resort construction going on we hope the island isn’t being overdeveloped, and 2. the government should install a few street signs—some intersections are unmarked.

The staff were friendly, the spot and the beach were fantastic, and I really enjoyed the spa, the gym, and the nice amenities inside. There were also good shops and restaurants. However, the beach felt a little dirty and the service was slow, and it would be better if there were easier ways to book reservations and activities.
The place is well situated and the rooms are large, but the facilities feel outdated and need refurbishing, and the restaurants have many mistakes.

I really liked the hotel, its décor, its location, its architecture, in short the whole thing is satisfying; as a frequent traveler, I consider it a very beautiful hotel. The pool is extremely dirty, the staff are frankly not friendly except for a few people, and they need to learn to smile, work, and understand that they are paid to serve customers; tell your management to clean under the round sofas by the pool—it’s absolutely disgusting underneath.

The location was great and the entire staff was superb. We loved the room—it was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, plus a bathroom with a shower that let in a lot of light, which I appreciated. I discovered a Creole specialty (Drips) at breakfast, which was delicious! I was there with my husband and I’ll come back with my family so they can experience this wonderful place.
