Breakfast was free and offered many options, not just a few. The memory‑foam beds were uncomfortable for me because I’m older and can’t shift easily; latex mattresses feel firmer and more supportive, but they can feel like they swallow you the longer you lie in them.

We called in the morning and the hotel managed to have a room ready early, letting us drop our luggage and freshen up before heading to the Ann Arbor Art Festival—a big help. The location was ideal for getting to the show.
