I stayed in a beautiful, stylish, huge room with a terrace in a historic building surrounded by a park, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of dishes. Unfortunately, a corporate training session right outside meant that from the morning onward the hallway and the adjacent room were filled with staff preparing for the event and then the participants, creating a lot of noise.

The building’s atmosphere and location—just 2 minutes from the beach—were great, and the breakfasts at the nearby hotel were tasty; the interior could use a refresh (ceilings, creaky floors, bathrooms) but the building’s vibe is fantastic and I’d return. The lovely surroundings and proximity to the beach more than compensate for the mentioned shortcomings, though the building’s appearance and setting were still a bit disappointing.

The location, architecture, and overall vibe were all positives, but I found the lack of soap and shower gel to be a drawback.

Breakfasts are very good with a large selection. Parking is next to the building. It’s close to the beach. The service is very courteous and friendly. The building and rooms need refreshing.

The location is fine, but the staff are clueless and incompetent, and there isn’t even shampoo in the room.
