Hôtel Atlantic La Rochelle is centrally located, steps from the beach and Cours des Dames, and 50 metres from Vieux Port. The hotel offers rooms with TVs and free Wi-Fi, many overlooking the garden. Ferries to Île-de-Ré, Oleron, and Aix depart nearby, and SNCF station is a 15-minute walk away, providing easy access to surrounding islands and French cities.

The proximity to the city center is a plus, but the establishment shows 3 stars, 2 of which are misrepresented: the room is tiny, there’s a detergent smell, and the neighbors sleep almost with you because the partitions are thin. The only star earned is for the friendly and available team.

The hotel’s location was spot‑on, the staff were very friendly, and the premises were clean and tastefully decorated. However, there was no parking on site and all nearby parking lots were paid. We were on the third floor, and the room’s sound insulation was imperfect because at night we could hear water circulation from the air‑conditioning or shower system.
