The room was clean, but the lady in charge was extremely rude and clearly needs training in customer service and how to speak to guests. I was heading to a wedding and needed an iron and ironing board; she told me that another client had locked them in her room and left. She then said I should have come with my shirt already ironed because they don’t offer laundry service. It was the first time in my entire travel life that I encountered such behavior.

We were told the bar was closing early, even though we were still drinking, and the staff were unhelpful about pets and service.

The place was fantastic; we stayed in a deluxe room and the family suite for our four kids. The family suite was beautifully furnished and fully equipped. Evenings around the open fire with delicious authentic meals were unforgettable, and what really sets this place apart is the immense hospitality.
