The Ambassador Parkhotel in Munich's Mittersendling district offers 3-star comfort, 5 km south of the historic city centre. Bright rooms feature modern bathrooms and standard amenities. Guests enjoy a daily breakfast buffet. The hotel's proximity to the Mittersendling S-Bahn station provides quick access to Hauptbahnhof and attractions like Hofbräuhaus and Marienplatz.

The location is a problem.

The linens were spotless, but the photos on the site look like they're from a few years back and don’t reflect the current state of the hotel, which is far from as nice as the pictures imply. The price is not justified when you compare it to other local options. There’s no air conditioning, so rooms get hot, and if you leave windows open you’ll hear a lot of street traffic. The place is noisy overall, with chatter and plumbing sounds leaking through the walls. The shower isn’t watertight; water drips all over the floor and into the bathroom. I’d advise looking elsewhere.

A run‑of‑the‑mill hotel, noisy, and it smells like cigarette smoke. The caretaker (super nice and helpful!) handles reception and breakfast.

Everything should have been better.

The service was a definite plus, and the hotel entrance was clean and pleasant, which you can’t say about the rooms. The Italian restaurant on site helped offset the hotel’s shortcomings. However, the hotel isn’t ready for hot weather—there’s no air‑conditioning, which is now a basic amenity, and there were no glasses in the rooms, another modern standard. The garage looked like a horror set, and I’d suggest keeping the doors to other areas closed so guests don’t see the mess outside; the courtyard was terribly cluttered—maybe tolerable for one night, but not for two.
