“Accomodatie mooi maar communicatie en ontbijt slecht.”

The room was tidy, spacious, and quiet, but there was no front desk open; I had to use a code to get in, and keys for several rooms were left open at the reception. I had to follow a confusing route and walk a long way to reach my room. Breakfast closed at 9.00 the next morning, which wasn’t mentioned; we arrived at 9.15 and could barely eat two slices of bread.

The staff were welcoming and very friendly, the room was large and clean with good beds, and the breakfast was extensive and neatly prepared. The restaurant feels like a cafeteria, a bit impersonal, but the view from room 202 is beautiful and the area is very quiet. A typical German restaurant/biergarten is within walking distance and two more are a 5‑minute drive away. It’s a perfect stopover for travelers, and we stayed for four days to relax and walk around. Nothing particularly stood out; it’s mainly used by large groups for conferences and training, so breakfast can be a bit busy and noisy, but otherwise there were no complaints. After 20:00 and especially at night it’s completely quiet. Towels aren’t changed automatically on multiple nights, but you can change them yourself in the lockers on the first floor.

The location is great, and staying in an old monastery is fun.

“Tolles Hotel nahe Aschaffenburg”

The atmosphere is very nice, the former monastery feels spiritual, the rooms are lovely, and breakfast is lovingly prepared. Nothing to note.
