“Lakeside breakfast bliss, but a small hiccup”
The place is right on the lake, and the breakfast was top‑notch. Free paddle‑boards and beach chairs, ample parking, spotless rooms, and the staff and management were all very friendly. The setting was calm and relaxing. The only snag was that we only found out about the fork‑served omelette at the end of our stay – a bit of a let‑down.

Half‑board is highly recommended – the dinner is outstanding and showcases authentic Austrian cuisine. With plenty of free sports equipment on hand, it’s a hit for families and water‑sport lovers alike.

We were just passing through, so the short drive to and from the highway was a big plus. The real charm was the spot right at the start of the lake where it feeds into a little river. The old house has a bit of character, but everything’s been tastefully kept up. We nailed a BBQ night (with a digestif to finish) and the breakfast spread was generous. The water‑side deck with loungers, umbrellas, and free SUPs was a treat. The only downside? No elevator – we didn’t know that.
