“Our stay was pleasant even though the room wasn't as clean and odor free as I would've liked.”
The location was very convenient, the staff were friendly, and the room was generally clean. The whole facility smelled like smoke and mildew, the carpet needed cleaning, and the room was hot when we arrived.

Our room had clearly been updated recently, was clean and pleasant, and the mattress was comfortable with no bed bugs. The staff were fine. However, the hotel was overpriced for the facilities offered, the exterior looked run down, the hallways and lobby had a bad smell, and there was no microwave or tissues.

There was no breakfast; they only offered a single‑serve Keurig with two K‑cups, which weren’t very good. There’s no microwave in the rooms, only one in the lobby that looks like it was bought at a garage sale. The room was spacious and clean, giving me plenty of space to write at a well‑lit desk. I had a couch in my room with a king‑size bed, which was a nice touch. The staff were reasonably nice. I requested a first‑floor room and they were kind enough to provide one. They gave me a map of Carter County and were always ready to recommend restaurants and directions—especially since the mountain roads in Elizabethton can get very confusing. They have no benches or seating outside, the pool wasn’t operational and looked like it had been out of commission for years, and, as mentioned, there was no coffee or breakfast beyond a few K‑cups and no microwave in the room.

The staff were incredibly sweet and helpful with any questions or needs we had! We loved the room and the bed was so comfortable! We will definitely stay there again whenever we come to Elizabethton.
