The bed was comfy. The breakfast had frozen berries and bread juices that tasted funny – artificial.

The place was very clean. As soon as we walked through the door to the reception the owner greeted us with a very unwelcome attitude. Then early evening we were given a lecture on how much it cost to run the hotel. And how he hated the locals and swore more than once. He stated the hotel is closing in 11 days time. The main menu was not available, only cheese or meat board offered. Yet the full menu was in the room. No coffee from the bar, apparently machine was switched off to save money! No heating in the morning. TV reception and WiFi both went off around 10 pm and amazingly both worked again in the morning. Hard to understand why?

The location was suitable for my purpose. I looked tired overall. I was informed the property is closing at the end of October for good part likely to the government’s new policies.
