The view, location of the hotel, and breakfast were good, but the beds were a bit uncomfortable and the showers weren’t watertight.

The location right on the lake is perfect, the breakfast buffet offers a wide selection, the food in the restaurant tasted pretty good, and the staff were friendly. The room was a disappointment: the mattresses were sagging to the point of being unusable, there were no or insufficient storage spaces (e.g., bedside table) for books or other personal items, but there was a huge wardrobe around the beds (both sides and above). To use the upper cabinets one would have had to climb onto a chair or the bed. Below our sea‑view room (not exactly cheap) was the hotel beach bar, so it was very noisy until 23:00. The room description didn’t mention this, otherwise we might have chosen a different room category (or even a different hotel). The way to the in‑house restaurant or bar was poorly signposted; we never quite knew whether we were allowed to pass through or not.
