The location is good. The room was nothing like the photos: we were given a 3rd‑floor room that felt like an attic, so heat rose quickly. Shower water pressure was minimal, and the stationary shower head wouldn’t turn on without a sudden burst of cold water. I even joked about taking showers in the pool bathroom.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The location is excellent—near everything yet tucked away in a quiet spot. Saidali N helped us in many ways and was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast options were limited, and the croissants were not good. I’m not bothered by the chickens, but they would jump on the table and steal my bagel, so you always had to “shoo” them away, which was not very relaxing.

This is our third stay at Cabana Inn Key West, and the location is one of its biggest strengths—everything is within walking distance. The real highlight, however, is the staff: Mr. Saidali and Mrs. Morgan were absolutely fantastic, offering help on site and Mr. Saidali even assisted before arrival to add extra days on short notice. I can’t praise the staff enough. We had almost no negatives, but coordinating the additional days was very difficult. The help desk didn’t have the correct contact info for Cabana Inn; the phone number on file was wrong, and even after I explained it, they said they couldn’t call any other number. Both the Cabana Inn desk agent and the phone agent were present, yet the agent still couldn’t help. Fortunately Mr. Saidali’s experience allowed him to sort things out.

Location, size of the rooms, comfortable bed. Chickens are everywhere stealing your food and you need to be careful where you walk because of their poop
