“Agréable séjour”

The breakfast selection was good and varied, and the hotel’s location a bit away from the beach keeps it quiet and away from the bustle. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was very clean, and there were plenty of nice excursions to explore nearby.

The hotel has great potential; the quality and cleanliness of the facilities were exceptional. The room was spacious and well equipped, and the pool was always spotless, matching the photos. The staff were eager to please and attentive to every detail. We were lucky to stay during Chinese New Year and were invited to several celebrations. A few improvements could make the experience more pleasant for international guests: the TV only offered Chinese channels and apps, which is inconvenient for non‑Chinese visitors; staff do not speak English, so we had to use Google Translate for verbal communication, which was not very practical; breakfast could be more varied; some people smoked inside the reception, which was unpleasant for non‑smokers; and advance communication about the many benefits (for example, the presence of a driver) would be helpful.

I liked that the hotel only has 12 rooms, so there’s no big crowd. A Chinese family runs it, so the vibe is family‑friendly. Everyone is very kind, friendly, and helpful. The owner offered us free transfer, which was very kind and a big help. The rooms are well themed, cozy, and modern. The cooling, shading, and soundproofing in the room are all very good. The minibar provides free water and soda that are regularly restocked, which is a very helpful and kind gesture. Every day we received small gift items—shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, face mask, mosquito repellent, soap, sleep aid, earplugs, eye mask, body lotion, and many useful little things that were very good for us! Unfortunately, English is not spoken very well, so communication worked only through a translator, but it could be managed. Breakfast orders must be placed online, which didn’t always work well for us; most of the time we didn’t get what we asked for, so that could be improved. The beach is a 15‑20 minute walk away, which is not exhausting at all. A 7‑Eleven and a local BigC store are within 2 minutes, which is very convenient and useful! The island’s best local family‑run restaurant, the Red Chair, is only a minute away; the food is excellent, fresh, the service is superb, and the prices are ridiculously cheap! The laundry is 1 minute away, and a normal quality massage salon is also 1 minute away. A big advantage is that the street is less noisy and traffic is lower at night. The hotel as a whole is spotless, both in the rooms and in the lobby. Overall, we recommend the place to everyone; we would return because we felt very comfortable in a clean, friendly environment.
