“Nice stay but doors to the rooms to don't lock propery”

The rooms were large, clean, and offered beautiful sea views. The staff was very nice throughout the hotel. The pool was a good size and ocean loungers were easy to find. Rooms come with robes and slippers. Breakfast was very good, dinner at the restaurant offered generous portions for the price, great value. Warning: the doors don’t lock automatically! There is a weird issue with the locks where the room will remain open after you close the door, which happened to two different rooms and seems to be a regular issue at the hotel. We came back from dinner and could just open our door without using the key card when we thought it was locked. This also happens with the deadbolt; someone can open the door from the outside without a key card even after you have deadbolted it from the inside. It would have been nice to have an adults‑only area. The air conditioning is centrally controlled by the hotel, so you have no way of adjusting the temperature yourself. We called to have it lowered, then it was set to 24 °C again, which was very warm.

The view from the window is beautiful, the hotel still feels quite new, the reception staff are friendly, and there are plenty of sun loungers available. The beach next to the hotel was very dirty, littered with cigarette butts and not cleaned at all, and there were many wasps. The pool water was ice‑cold. The rooms had minor but frustrating faults: a damaged bathroom door that wouldn’t close, a tap whose handle kept falling back down and shutting off the water while we were using it, a lingering cigarette‑smoke smell from previous guests, no coffee machine or hair conditioner, and too few cups. The room’s air conditioning could only be set within a very narrow temperature range. Noise from the nearby seafront street in the middle of the night made it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was monotonous, poor‑quality and unappetising; the food seemed reheated, cooked the day before, and the scrambled eggs tasted as if they were made from powder. There was no option to order a freshly prepared dish, no fresh juice—only juice from a dispenser—and very few fresh vegetables. Service in the restaurant at dinner was very poor: staff worked slowly and forgot our orders. It was difficult even to get water, and we never managed to order wine with dinner. There was never a bartender at the lobby bar; to order anything we first had to go to reception and ask them to call the bartender.

Super restaurant and spa. The beach was very close. The hotel should have a small shop. No other quality restaurants or shops nearby.

“Un bon moment”

The hotel is very luxurious. The décor and practicality are very well thought out, thanks to smart designers and decorators. It’s also a renovated old hotel with an exceptional view. One small detail: the hotel is oriented east and the beach right in front is also east. Trying to sun‑bathe after the last swim in the late afternoon is an achievement because the sun sets behind the hotel, but it’s still doable and really not bothersome.

Parking is excellent, the staff is very pleasant and positive. The cleanliness of the rooms and the pool is commendable. Food in the restaurant is of medium quality, and the beds are too soft.
