The rooms are cozy, clean, and modern even though they're small, and the building’s front French bistro connects to BoB W through an inner door. The hallway floor on the fifth floor was dirty and damaged, which really spoiled the experience.

The location is great, and there’s parking under the hotel. The room is modern and clean. An electric kettle would have been welcome, and the explanation of how to access the room via their Bob W site could have been clearer.

If you want a place that ruins your whole trip and makes you never want to return to Munich, this is it. We booked two nights but only stayed one night (still paid for two nights) in a room on the 6th floor. The hotel runs cost‑efficiently for itself, ignoring customers, so there was literally no one there. After dinner we tried to open the room with the Digital Key they gave us, but it didn’t work, so I messaged them on WhatsApp and they told me to go to the locker on the –1 floor to get a physical key. Another guest got the key before us, and the locker wasn’t working either. My boyfriend and I kept trying to open the door or the locker; after half an hour only the digital key finally worked, letting us in. They promised to contact a local team to fix the issue, but they never came. The next morning I wasn’t sure the room would open with the digital key again, so I tried to open it myself while my boyfriend stayed inside to help if it didn’t work, and it didn’t. I explicitly asked them to fix the locker early that morning so I could get the physical key, but they only arrived around 9:50 to give me a key. We couldn’t have breakfast that morning to enjoy our last moments in Munich together because at least one person had to be inside to open the door.

The room was nice, with a comfy bed, plenty of space to work, and a nice bathroom—all very modern. The only downside was that there was no fridge in the room.
