Everything was absolutely perfect! The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful, and the service was truly exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, spotless and perfectly located — one of the best stays we’ve ever had!. Nothing to point out

Reception staff (shared between Porta Altinia and Hotel Carlton) were very friendly and helpful. Because of the strong mold smell in Porta Altinia, we were moved to a room in the adjacent Hotel Carlton for the second night, which was very nice; next time we’ll stay only at Hotel Carlton. The Porta Altinia room had a terrible mold odor, making for a horrible night.

We booked this hotel to visit Venice. The location is very good, 5 min walk from the train station and 10 min walk from the city centre with good restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was pretty average; there was a relatively wide selection, but none of it was particularly tasty.

Good hotel in a great location. All staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was very good, with a wide choice of gluten free options too
