The spot is great – right by the north gate of Dali Ancient City, next to a school, loads of restaurants nearby, easy to get around. The price is cheap, I stayed several days. The owner is friendly and quick to help; when I found the king‑size room awkward, he switched me to a double bed room.

Just outside the walled old center of Dali, this hostel is pretty nice. I got a decent private room at a good price. The staff are friendly, helpful, and speak a little English, plus you can do laundry for free. I’d definitely recommend it.
