The place is about 10 minutes from the center, where there are restaurants. Checking out at 10 h is very inconvenient; they do it exactly to charge a new day or half day. I had a transfer at 18 h and paid a half day. Even with the amount paid, in the middle of my walk I received a message saying I hadn’t taken my things from the room and my stay had expired. That was at 10.36. I told them I had already paid and it was correct, then they apologized. I felt some disorganization, even in breakfast where there was only one person restocking and couldn’t keep up. My air conditioner wasn’t efficient enough to cool the room, it took more than 3 hours to feel cooler, and finally the TV wouldn’t pick up a channel.

Everything was spot‑on. The rooms are basic but have everything you need—clean, air‑conditioned and everything works. Staff treated us really well and the breakfast was solid. I’d definitely send people this place.

I was disappointed that the room I booked didn't have a hair dryer, which I didn't know about until I arrived after a day of touring, and there was no spare to borrow, which felt awful.

The spot is perfect—just a 15‑minute walk to Beira Rio where the top restaurants are. The place itself is tidy and the breakfast decent, but it’s pretty plain, like most city lodgings. Still, the location makes up for the simplicity.
