The hotel was very friendly, the staff were kind and very helpful, the breakfast was great, it’s set in a garden, and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and spacious.
“Sehr gutes 3* Hotel in Bishkek”
We really liked the hotel overall! Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed (kettle + tea/coffee, TV, air‑conditioning, balcony, a large double bed, a big wardrobe, a large bathroom). It was clean and tidy, and the included breakfast was tasty and varied. There was also a pool, and in the lobby you could buy cheap fresh coffee, water, and soft drinks. The reception seemed staffed 24/7 – we had to check out at about 04:30 am and someone was there at that time. Within 10 minutes by taxi we reached Ala‑Too Square and the New Central Mosque. Supermarkets were nearby. [The description says we booked a twin room with an extra bed, but for this review we booked a double room with balcony! The twin room was on the ground floor, no balcony, but it was just as nice and clean.] In our bathroom there was a strong drain smell, and sometimes no water ran in the shower or sink. After a brief note at the reception, the problem was fixed within a few minutes, though it was a bit annoying. Still, the value for money was great, so we’d book again.
“A nice little place not too far from the center of Bishkek”
The hotel is very nice, the room and bathroom are very spacious, the staff were helpful, and the location is decent even though it’s a bit of a walk into town; breakfast had many good options, but there was no extra toilet paper and sound insulation could be better; the coffee at breakfast was confusing to prepare and only one small pot could be made at a time, which wasn’t enough for all the guests.
The location is great, especially that you can park right in front of the door! Unfortunately, the bathroom had a strong stench of stagnant water, and even the ventilation didn’t help. Breakfast was okay, but not great either.
“Unreliable hot water, flooding and overcharged payment”
The rooms were modern and the bathroom was huge; the balcony and breakfast were also good, and the staff were kind and helpful. However, the hot water in our room was very unreliable, running out quickly or staying lukewarm; we had to ask the front desk to turn on a hot water machine, which didn’t work at first and made no difference when the water got ice‑cold mid shower. The bathroom flooded after showers or flushing the toilet to the point we could only use it barefoot, as water leaked through the tile seals and there was no drainage in the main area. We were overcharged by $55AUD, which we only noticed after comparing the hotel’s bill to the quoted price. The front desk offered a refund, but only in cash, not to our original payment method. I appreciate the staff’s help, but for the price of this hotel in Osh, I was disappointed.
