A comfortable hotel with excellent dinner and breakfast, the owners are very friendly, and it’s a great stop for day hikers or anyone staying longer.

The hotel’s location was great—quiet, close to forest and lake, the room was spacious and clean, the restaurant was superb, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food tasty. Nothing to complain about.

The shuttle to and from the event was very flexible, even outside normal hours, which is rare and really appreciated. I would have liked an extra pillow as a complimentary option (at least for us) and the breakfast lacked dairy choices for people with intolerances; both are now standard in hotels.
