Hotel Tesoro Beach in San Luis La Herradura boasts a private beach area and stunning sea views. The hotel features an infinity pool, open-air bath, and serene garden. Rooms have air-conditioning, private bathrooms, and modern amenities. A family-friendly restaurant serves meals and cocktails, with outdoor seating and a pool bar. Los Blancos Beach is a 13-minute walk away, and El Salvador International Airport is 23 km distant.

The food and room were fine, and the hotel entrance was okay. However, this is the third time we’ve visited Tesoro Beach and it’s the first time we’ve had complaints: there are many staff but the food service is slow and we have to keep calling them; the beach furniture is dirty, dusty, and has bird droppings; the room bathroom is deteriorated; the pool could be cleaner.

The accommodation meets the basics, has a good location, and the staff are friendly. It isn’t really a resort; the room is very simple, providing only what’s necessary without luxury touches or extras like night lamps, beach towels, or bedside tables.

I was impressed by the attentive service and tasty food, but the walls in the rooms were a little thin.

The breakfast was basic, the restaurant menu was quite limited, the location was great and the beach beautiful, but the hotel itself is old with worn‑out furniture that needs renovation; the pool area could use more palm trees for shade, though the bars there are fine. The price-to‑quality ratio calls for a remodel.
