The hostel sits in a very central spot, so getting around is easy, and the Old Town plus many sights are within walking distance; the price is very reasonable. However, if you can spend a bit more, I’d suggest booking a room with a private bathroom because the shared ones were quite dirty during our stay. I was also uneasy that male guests could enter the women’s shared bathroom. After I mentioned this to the front desk, the staff acted quickly and fixed the issue. I appreciate their helpfulness and friendly attitude. Overall, the location, price, and front desk service were solid. If the shared bathrooms were cleaner and better managed, I’d definitely give this hostel a 100% rating. I hope the management can improve the cleanliness and privacy of the shared bathrooms, as that would make the overall experience much better.

A very pleasant, quiet and cozy hostel. The staff were kind and helpful. Salman Bek and Anara Khanum always treated everyone with friendliness and politeness in every matter.

The hostel overbooked us, leaving us stranded in Baku at 4 am. I had booked well in advance and my reservation covered the day before our arrival so that we could check in at night.
