“Buen establecimiento en un lugar como Jimena de la Frontera, con mucho encanto”
The décor was nice. The pillow was the problem.

The rooftop terrace was fantastic with a great view! We came in on motorcycles, which could be parked in the garage.

From the outside the building looks pretty plain, but inside it’s a beautifully renovated old townhouse, lovingly restored with attention to detail. The breakfast was good, the reception very courteous, and the airport was just 30 minutes away. Hotels in Sevilla at the same distance from the airport are much pricier and often don’t include breakfast. I’d definitely come back. There was nothing to complain about.

The property is a stunning Moorish-style house with all the trimmings—tiles, lamps, a central fountain. I stayed in the best room, which had a large terrace overlooking the mountains, and there’s also a roof terrace to watch the stars. The owner kindly picked me up from the station, which is helpful since taxis in Jimena can be unreliable. The communal kitchen was left in a mess by other guests, but the steep walk up from the main square is worth it for the views.

The location is great, the staff and management are lovely, and the roof terrace offers amazing views. The building itself is a traditional English picturesque structure. However, there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room and no fridge to keep drinks cold. While there is a shared tea and coffee station on the roof terrace, it’s inconvenient when you just woke up and want a coffee.
