The owner was very friendly and spoke excellent English, which made talking to him a breeze. He gave us great suggestions on what to see and where to go, and we had fruit and water available at any time we wanted.

The bed was comfortable, the AC worked, and the Wi‑Fi was fine. Breakfast was fantastic—a whole plate of fruit. Allen is a nice guy who looks after me, offers advice, and arranges transport. He keeps a beautiful garden that’s so relaxing to sit outside; the birds sing, the wind blows through the trees, and I feel like I’m in paradise. Thanks, Allen.

Allen the host is very sociable, gives good recommendations, lent us bikes for a ride, and prepares a tasty breakfast! The location is great for reaching Jaffna city centre. The house is authentic, full of history, and it was awesome!

It’s a beautiful place to stay, with a lovely green garden, a small terrace, and really nice, spacious rooms. Allen was an amazing host — very friendly, warm-hearted, and welcoming. He shared a lot with me and really took the time to talk to me and the other guests. I would definitely stay here again!

Allen is an extremely relaxed, friendly, and caring host. The quiet setting with a garden is perfect, and you can leisurely explore the city by bike. The breakfast is varied and delicious.
