My experience here was very positive. I travelled alone and the host arranged a pickup from Galle, organized a very good and affordable safari, and even took me to see the baby elephants’ feeding, which was worth it. He also arranged a trip over the mountains to Hatton at a great price with an experienced driver. I didn’t have time for breakfast, but the host packed it for me in a bag so I could eat it on the road—thoughtful. Overall, a great place to stay with clean, comfortable accommodation and excellent service. The only downside is that if you want to eat, it’s a bit of a walk or a tuk‑tuk ride to the restaurants, but the host can arrange dinner otherwise, so no real issues.
