The traditional décor and friendly staff were nice. The breakfast was weak; there was no fruit, cheese, ham for the bread, no milk or plant‑based drinks, and the table cleaning was poor.

“Simplesmente maravilhosa!”

The location is wonderful! The staff are simply attentive and very friendly, and the Riad is gorgeous. We have absolutely nothing to complain about!

I think the breakfast is very basic and lacks variety. The mini‑fridge didn’t keep drinks cold.

I’ve stayed at El Riad Mabrouk for the seventh consecutive year, and the location remains unbeatable, but what truly matters are the staff and the rooms, which are superb. The only downside is that the terrace used to be at street level for drinks and food; now the restaurant sits on the second floor, cutting off the street view that was once so vital after the Jamaa El Fna square.

The hotel’s proximity to Jamaa El Fnaa and the medina is great, and the staff are attentive. However, the air conditioning in our suite didn’t work, and although a technician was promised, we had to change rooms and ended up in separate ones. There were cockroaches right outside our suite’s door, the breakfast options were very limited, and the pans used for cooking eggs were blackened, unlike the original stainless steel ones.
