The staff were friendly, but the bed was stale, the shower barely produced water, the bathroom stayed damp, the Wi‑Fi was unreliable, the power kept cutting out, and loud music blasted from morning until night—yet the price was outrageous for all that.

The service was friendly, the surroundings are beautiful and close to the airport, the shuttle works well even at night, the breakfast variety is good, and the place feels very cozy.

Aisha is genuinely nice and cares a lot about guests. The garden is gorgeous, with a chameleon and lovely birds. The pool area is inviting for relaxation, and breakfast was good—Aisha made us omelets and had everything we needed.

The staff were amazing, the restaurant food was great and good value, and the location worked perfectly for our daily trips to Faraba/Sanyang, avoiding traffic. When we needed the beach, it was only a 25‑minute drive. The water pressure was low and the water quite cold, which was fine for the hot season but not ideal for a shower on chilly mornings. It’s not the worst issue.

The place is in a remote, quiet, and peaceful spot surrounded by trees full of birds and occasional monkeys. Aisha and Osman are kind and truly wonderful hosts who know how to look after guests. Its proximity to the airport makes it a great starting or final stop on a trip around The Gambia.
