The sauna and wellness area were freshly renovated and spotless. The staff were friendly, the food was good, and the location was great for walking. The rooms were stunning. It was a shame the pools were closed for renovation, but that’s for next time.

The hotel boasts a beautiful thermal pool and spa centre, all included in the stay even on checkout day. The room was comfortable and very quiet. Free parking was convenient, and the riverside location made for pleasant walks. The pools were large and equipped with many hydro‑massage systems. The breakfast buffet was decent, the dinner buffet was average, and drinks were not included (not even water). Cleanliness was excellent. On the downside, the room was uncomfortably warm at night and the air‑conditioning seemed to be already switched off for late September. The bathroom had two serious issues for a four‑star hotel: soap ran out in the shower and was never refilled, and the shower entrance was dangerously steep—almost a metre high—making it risky for an older guest. At 29 I struggled to get in and out without falling. The dinner buffet was mediocre, and the price of €29 per person did not include drinks (not even water). They should install a thermal water dispenser on each floor; going down to the ground floor to get water for the room was a hassle. The beds were two single beds joined together, so they weren’t very comfortable for couples. Despite these quirks, the stay was still enjoyable, and with a few fixes it could be exceptional.

The pool and meals were good. Because the sauna was closed, they told us we could use the neighbouring facility’s sauna for free, but that place charged €9.

The staff were kind and professional. The food was good, the rooms were large and comfortable, and the facilities and pools were lovely. Room cleanliness could have been better.
