I paid for a king size bed but ended up with a queen size one, the shower was broken, and when I asked for help in the morning there was none—no one offered to fix it, so we had to go without a shower. On the bright side, parking was good.

The room was clean and the breakfast was good, but it was very cool in the morning and could have used some heating.

Everything else was fine, but the hotel was under construction, so there was no pool or hot tub—something I wish I’d known before booking, because I couldn’t get a refund. Parking was problematic due to workers. Still, it was good value and not off my travel list.

The room was cool, but the TV picture was snowy and unclear.

The room stank of smoke, had insects in the bathroom, the hallway exterior doors were open, the place was under renovation, the pool was unusable and the guests were noisy.
