Breakfasts were not offered. I had to climb the fire escape to get in and out of the building. The TV was broken. There was no parking available on the premises all week. Smoke drifted into the room from people smoking outside. The wash basin had no electrical outlet.

The place sits in a nice spot with good parking. I want to give a special shout‑out to Syd, who was very sympathetic and made sure I was fine while my mum was seriously ill at Royal Cornwall Hospital. I would definitely recommend this spot.

It was close to Dad’s care home, but it needs a lot of work.

The location was great, the room was fantastic, parking was great, and the cleanliness was excellent. The bed was comfortable. Having our own shower and toilet was a big plus; I would definitely recommend and return again.

The staff were genuinely lovely and went above and beyond for us. I’m already looking forward to a return visit. The owner did an excellent job. Well done, The Kings Head.
