Hotel Eden

The hotel sits in an excellent spot overlooking Cala Matano, which is truly spectacular. The staff were very courteous. Some areas of the building could use a renovation, but the rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. Breakfast is served on a panoramic terrace overlooking the island of San Nicola, and I must say it’s a great way to start the day. The Tremiti Islands remain a wild corner, perfect for nature lovers who want to walk to the various coves; the scenery is restorative for both body and spirit.

The location is great with direct access to Cala Matano, and the free daily shuttle to and from the port is very convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room needs a bit of updating, especially the shower, which is very small and uncomfortable.

I had no hot water, which was fixed late that night, but we had already checked out that day.

The room was huge and spotless, and breakfast was just fine. The hotel sits a ten‑minute walk from the harbor but has a great shuttle service, and there are also restaurants and bars nearby.

Breakfast on the terrace offered a magnificent view, but the bathroom was lacking.
