“Unhygienic and unpleasant.”
The location was good. Initially, they weren’t expecting me because their partner was away and there was clearly no communication between them; I had to wait outside while they called to confirm my booking. The bedding had stains on the pillowcase and fitted sheet, as if it hadn’t been changed despite assurances; the mirrored wardrobe was full of fingerprints, the shower cubicle had water stains, and no towels were provided. I left after about 10 minutes because I felt uncomfortable with the hygiene level. In my view, the property’s cleanliness standards differ greatly from mine, and they refuse a refund because they insist it had been cleaned.
