When we arrived, no one opened the door for us and we couldn’t get in contact with anyone at the property. We were left stranded and had to go to an expensive hotel nearby because it was already evening and the streets felt really creepy.

I would say nothing pleased me at all. Everything was filthy, no towels were provided, and the accommodation was catastrophic and awful—definitely the worst place I’ve stayed in years, yet the booking rating on the door is 8.6.

The building’s look, the surroundings, and the manager’s friendliness were nice. Everything was very dirty, and it felt a bit uncomfortable. When we got there, we had to talk to the folks from the building across the street because we couldn’t find the manager. We were negatively surprised by the total price, since later we had to pay for services we thought were included.

Great spot, owners were helpful and friendly, breakfast was fine, room and cleaning were average but the surroundings weren't very polished. You can arrange trips and even stay with a nomadic family—just negotiate the price when planning and make sure you set clear expectations with the family. For extra meals, set the price and clarify expectations before accepting any invitation or offer.

The location was welcoming, the breakfast was decent, and the guide was attentive and cautious—great for a family with kids.
