The peace was perfect. The building sat on a dead-end street, so there was no background noise except birds. You actually had the whole top floor to yourself, with a private entrance and key. The host and hostess were extremely friendly, so overall it was super! The place was tidy and clean, though not spotless, which didn’t bother us. There were minor misunderstandings about breakfast; being clear about what you want solved it.

We had a wonderful time! In a bustling, noisy Egypt, this beautiful and peaceful spot felt like heaven. Our nice room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated; the beds were comfortable and we slept so well. From the balcony and terrace we enjoyed amazing views over the banana fields. The Australian hosts welcomed us warmly and gave excellent tips on what to do. It was one of our best experiences, and we’ll definitely return.

It was a superb experience in this lovely house. The room (or rather the apartment!) is great. The view from the terrace is sensational. Breakfast is exquisite. The hosts are wonderful. Air conditioning, fan, mosquito net. I was able to swim in a neighboring guest house thanks to Gary’s suggestions (: About a 10‑minute walk from the public ferry to reach East Luxor. About 20‑25 minutes by bike to the Valley of the Queens! Thanks again and see you soon.

I felt at home; Leslie and Garry were fantastic and very helpful. Leslie’s cooking was exceptionally healthy and tasty. My friends warned I might get sick, but I had no issues because they filter the drinking water and the food was fresh. I was blown away by the price for the stay and especially for the beautiful accommodation. I managed to visit one of the many temples right next door. I’ll definitely stay there again on my next visit to Luxor. The only thing I missed was a TV, but they made up for it.

The hosts are very friendly and the view of the banana farm across the property is great. It’s in a quiet, safe spot but a 10‑minute walk to the Nile River. Breakfast is included and simple; the room is spacious with a very pretty ceiling. We must have confused the place with another guest house of a similar name on Google Maps, so we ended up here instead of what we originally wanted. The common areas could be cleaner, but overall I’d recommend staying here, especially thanks to the hosts.
