Everything worked out fine overall, which was a smart pick, but the cookies were the only thing offered for breakfast, and parking was a nightmare—insufficient when the event space was in use.

This DoubleTree was nice and had all the usual perks; the room and beds were great. The pool being closed was frustrating, especially since that’s part of what I expected to use. I also had a disappointing experience at the on‑site restaurant, where the food was very cold and didn’t live up to Hilton standards. It felt like we were paying more than at the Hampton Inn I stayed at another night, yet getting the same overall value. I’ll probably just stick with Hampton Inn next time.
