This was one of the nicest places we have stayed on this trip! Quiet, peaceful, green, and a small but comfortable room, with a great breakfast. Massimiliano is a wonderful and very personal host, and we particularly appreciated the environmental touches, like drinking water in a refillable glass bottle instead of plastic. We would love to come back if we pass this way again

The breakfast was excellent and unique, and the location is beautiful, but the stairs are a bit of a hassle.

A very kind older gentleman took great care of us, made his own jam, kept bringing water, cleaned the room during the day, and gave excellent local tips; it was fantastic and I’d book again immediately. The lack of climate control and the small bathroom were the only downsides.

Max’s friendliness, the calm and welcoming atmosphere, and the green setting were all great, yet the room was very hot (as in all of Italy!) with no air conditioning or fan, and the windows let in insects because there were no screens—quite a pity since everything else was perfect.
