The staff’s service is excellent in the restaurant; the food is very tasty and the place is very clean. The tourist area at 7 pm feels like a ghost town, and outside that zone the beach is overrun with seaweed and smells awful—there’s no other spot to enjoy the coast because about 10 m from the shore it’s invaded and stinky. Only the tourist area is cleaner, but it still has issues. Back at the hotel, the lack of TV made it boring after 8 pm when it’s time to sleep.

The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help; if something is needed, they arrange it immediately and check throughout your stay to ensure everything is okay. We can’t think of any negatives, except that the chairs on the balcony are a bit hard… but that’s just a Mexican touch.

We loved staying here! The room, pool, and facilities were super clean and comfortable, the location was excellent, and it was exactly what we wanted: a quiet place to disconnect from the city’s hustle and truly rest. The best part was the girls’ hospitality—always very kind from reception to the end, making us feel at home. They really made our stay even nicer. I also appreciated that the hotel has an eco-friendly focus and promotes environmentally friendly practices, which is greatly appreciated. A detail that stole our hearts were the hotel’s kittens and puppies—they’re adorable and make the place even more special! The breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again if I return to Mahahual. Thanks for everything!

The rooms and the pool were really nice, but the breakfast situation was odd. We booked rooms that included breakfast, which was served at a separate coffee and lunch bar owned by the same person. We had to make our own coffee in the room with a basic machine, and it wasn't included with breakfast, which is strange because we prefer coffee with our meal. The machine had been used by previous guests and wasn’t cleaned, leaving wet coffee residue and a moist smell. We also had to pay extra for our coffees.
