What a stay! They’ve truly changed how we see hostel experiences—seven days together turned strangers into family. The team goes above and beyond, ensuring every request is met and more. Dinners, shared activities, and parties make it effortless to connect and bond. A special shoutout to Savi and Aari, who were a delight and made the experience unforgettable. If you want more than just a place to sleep, this is it!

Roaming Retreat sits right in Ahangama’s center, just a short walk from Hakuna Matata. The rooms are beautifully designed and visually pleasing. Food was absolutely amazing, but the atmosphere was the real highlight—feels like a community where locals and travelers alike feel like friends. Dinner nights together were a fun touch, and the two little dogs kept us company. Pool table sessions were a highlight too. A warm, welcoming spot with great vibes. Would definitely return. The only downside is a railway track right next to/behind the property, so train sounds can be a bit loud in the morning, but it’s manageable.

これまで泊まったホステルの中で最高のホステルでした！まずチェックインの時には、手作りのスイカジュースを無料で用意してくれ、とても温かい雰囲気で向かい入れてくれました。 部屋は写真の通りで、広々していてとても清潔で、6人部屋にバスルームは２つもありました。おかげで誰かが使用しているのを待つことはありません。もちろんタオルもついていますし、シャンプーなども用意されていました。 併設してるカフェのサンドイッチやコーヒーもとても美味しかったですし、従業員の方は客をきちんとケアしていて、汗だくで食べていると何も言わずにファンをこちらに向けてくれました。 みなさんチルな雰囲気とプロフェッショナルを両立している感じで、特にAriさんは素晴らしく、全て助けてくれて、話しているととても安心しました。近所のスリランカ料理屋さんを教えてくれて、お店に連絡して辛くないカレーまで手配してくれました。 チェックアウト後もシャワーとタオルまで貸してもらえるので、空港に行く前にシャワーを浴びられて助かりました。 空港までの送迎もとても良いレートで手配してくれるので、アプリで手配するよりホテルの人に相談することをおすすめします。

This was by far my favorite place to stay during my trip to Sri Lanka! The hostel is beautiful, stylish, and well maintained. Our room was lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
