The welcome was warm, the room spacious, contemporary, and bright with a wardrobe and desk; there’s a tasteful flower garden, a kiosk with a table and chairs, two sun loungers, and one spa. However, the ground‑floor rooms face the dining area by the door and, on the side with the bay window, look onto a noisy street starting at 6 am despite double glazing; there are no power outlets near the bed or on the desk, making it hard to charge four devices with only one floor outlet; there’s also no bedside lamp, so you must turn it off from the entrance; the curtains aren’t blackout, so light wakes you at 6 am; a poor dish cupboard serves as a kitchen.
