“Enjoyable stay in a garden setting”
The garden setting is lovely, and our room was spacious with comfortable beds; the shower supplied plenty of hot water. There were plenty of outdoor seating options. The location is great—main plaza and malecon are within walking distance, and several restaurants are nearby, like Go Bistro, Emma’s Deli, and Membrillo Cocina, all of which are very good. Marta, the manager, was welcoming and friendly, and our neighbor Val was helpful, giving us a tour of her apartment. We highly recommend Casa Aurora.

The property is gorgeous and well kept. The only downside is that there is no laundry service.

I enjoyed the camaraderie and interaction among the owners, the Casa manager, and the residents. I felt very comfortable using the community kitchen and garden area, and I was even invited to dinner with them and a special outing to the hot pools. I felt very included.

The place is very pretty, close to the center, cool and quiet, worth taking a walk around and we would definitely come back. In the bedroom there’s a wooden door that serves as a headboard; I see it as dangerous, and it also looks like it has mold, so I recommend removing it.

The location was excellent. I only suggest installing dark curtains on the front window to improve sleep.
