“Very nice”
The room was clean and tidy, yet the door was locked onto the street.

I loved the spot on the Thames, right at the end of the Windsor/Eton Bridge; the facilities were lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. I can’t think of anything negative.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the location great, and breakfast was good. However, the room is dark with two small high windows overlooking the roof, the hot and cold water taps are separate so you can’t get warm water, the hot water alone can scald you, and my room is up 50 flights of stairs, which is hard to climb when you’re 79 like me.

We went to Windsor races and brought the boat to the course; the next day we visited the castle, all very easy to reach. The room (84) was fine except for a wall that made us stare every time we looked out the window, and the noise from a group outside until 5 am was horrible; I told the receptionist in the morning, but they said we should have rung them—this was unsatisfactory. I probably won’t stay here again because of that; it’s a shame since we had a good day at the races and had to endure the noise all night, and there were many more complaints about it. Hope you sort it out. Regards, Chris Phillips.
