The spot was spot on, food was great, staff were super helpful and even drove me to and from the station. The building itself was amazing, the architecture was brilliant and the facilities were solid. They had clear noise rules. The downside was a bus stop 15 minutes away with two buses each way, but I couldn’t figure out which direction or where they were headed.

The sunrise tour was awesome; we left the hotel in the car at 4:30 am, caught a stunning sunrise at Tsubetsu Pass, and enjoyed the view. The video of the previous night’s host shoot was also great, giving me a full understanding of Lake Kussharo.
