Riad Khalifa

We stayed at Riad Khalifa and it was outstanding; the riad feels both elegant and cozy, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Hassan delivered a superb breakfast, and we also enjoyed the hammam with relaxing massages, plus lunch and dinner at the riad. The place feels like a peaceful oasis amid the medina’s maze, and the airport transfers arranged by the riad were a nice touch.

The room was spacious and roomy, and the staff—especially Yosef—were very welcoming. Breakfast was fresh, and we were pleased to find some vegetables in the package instead of the usual large portions, along with neutral-flavored yogurt. The bed was large, the pillows comfortable, and the rooftop was very pleasant and quiet. The riad is centrally located yet remarkably peaceful. However, there was no shower, only a bathtub, which was less convenient. The bathtub had no wall or door, just a wooden divider, making it even less comfortable. The mattress was very hard; we asked for a thinner one to soften it, but none was available. Breakfast was fresh, but it did not match our expectations when we asked for a sunny-side-up egg or some vegetables.

“Just lovely!”

The riad in the medina is beautiful, very comfortable and safe, and the breakfast is excellent. The rooftop terrace is gorgeous, and there’s nothing to complain about.

the room and washroom were clean and beautiful. location wasn't that great. it was ok for one night experience
