We loved the beautiful view and the lovely accommodation, but we were a bit surprised by the traffic noise since the property is right next to the road.
The location and view are lovely, and everything is well equipped.
The location is great, close to many beautiful walks, and the bedrooms offer lovely views. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. When the weather is good, the outdoor area is beautiful to sit in, and the pizza oven is a nice touch. James was a great host, answered all my questions quickly, and gave excellent recommendations for nearby walks and pubs. The lounge area, which is part of the kitchen, is a dark, cramped space to relax in when the weather isn’t good and you can’t sit outside. The lodge is perfect for nice weather, but if the weather is bad, you’re stuck in the kitchen or your bedroom. The bathrooms could use a couple of shelves for toiletries; otherwise everything ends up on the floor.

Everything about the property was excellent—from the decor to the shower, all tastefully decorated and really clean. The views across Cheltenham were stunning; it was a shame we couldn’t use the outside space because of rain, but everything else was just lovely! Nothing to complain about.
