Shops for everyday items, souvenirs, and local specialties are right around the corner.

The accommodation is cozy, a mountain‑hut vibe. Everything you need is there: a small kitchenette with coffee, tea, and free bread for breakfast, luggage storage, and a nice private onsen. It can be a bit noisy when other guests walk through the hallways because of creaky floors and thin walls, but that’s part of the experience! :)

This felt like the most authentic Japanese inn we’ve stayed in on our travels. The room was much larger than we expected and beautiful, and the private baths were a real treat. They were also generous enough to let us leave our bags for two days after our stay.
