The location is close to attractions and restaurants, the bed is firm and the shower works well even though it’s old, and the room and bathroom are spacious; the breakfast area is large with plenty of tables. However, the hotel needs renovations, including installing air conditioning in rooms (none currently have it), improving parking with more spaces, and the breakfast at 8:00 am was already struggling to restock. The bathroom tap had excessive pressure, soaking everything, and the acoustics were poor—any hallway noise reached the room. Around the room, roofs and other structures produced pigeon noise.

The staff were extremely kind, but I was left without hot water; the shower was boiler‑powered and stopped working, and the coffee, despite many options, was unpalatable, the fruit juices were almost expired, and there could have been fewer but higher quality choices.

The room was clean and the staff were courteous, but the breakfast was very bad: papaya and pineapple were already past their prime, the bread was dry and old, and in a Minas hotel there were no fresh breads or cheese bread. It would be better to offer fewer items but with higher quality; it’s unacceptable that fresh bread and coffee weren’t restocked.
