The property was severely run down, with no AC in the lobby halls or elevator. The hotel staff knew about this but did nothing to fix it, and I was stuck because I hadn’t taken the insurance.

The location was great, staff were very friendly and kind. I disliked that I slept on sheets that had blood on them from a previous occupant; this was unacceptable and I wanted someone to address the issue.

The staff were fantastic, especially the front desk which handled every request with professional flair, but the breakfast fell short—everything was undercooked, the grits were bland and too salty, and nobody seemed to eat pork.
