“Very special place for an authentic experience”
The temple is beautiful, the people are friendly, and I loved the room where we had tea and meals. It’s close to the night tour, and the ceremonies were beautiful.

The location is good. The staff are kind. The activities are nice. Hot tea is available in the room. It’s a bit cold at night. Really enjoy doing the onsen before bed—it warms you up well!

Even though everything is geared toward tourists, the experience is very enjoyable, yet it could use a few explanations about the monastery’s history, the daily life of the few monks who live there, and the ceremonies.

Had a nice experience, but you really need to enjoy the Japanese breakfast.
