I found this spot truly amazing—if you love nature, wildlife, and authentic Sri Lankan food, you should stay here. Madhu and Rosy made us feel so welcome, and we enjoyed walking on the land, swimming in the river, and every moment was a joy. We loved everything 💜

“1 night stay in March”

Finding the place was a challenge because there were no signs and it’s off Google Maps, but the host arranged someone to meet us in a heavy downpour, which was a huge help. The host and family were lovely, accommodating our request for less spicy dinner and ensuring we were satisfied. The room had the basics and a mosquito net for a good night’s sleep, and the view from the upstairs room was incredible—being so close to nature felt great. The shower was outside, which is a personal preference, and a mini fridge for drinks would have been nice.

“A beautiful out in the green experience.”

Dinner and breakfast were perfect! Getting there is tricky unless you follow the owner’s WhatsApp; you really need to check that.

“Peace & tranquility”

Peace and tranquility surrounded us in a beautiful setting, and only we and the young couple who looked after us were there. We stayed in the upper chalet, which had beds on the balcony—great for relaxing and stargazing at night. The food was amazing and a banquet was cooked for us each meal, but we didn’t need that much food every time. Make sure you agree on the price for food beforehand.
