The views are spectacular and the river is only 100 feet away, and the food was tasty. The mountain climb was a problem: a narrow, unkept road and a 30‑minute drive from the main road.

Words can’t do justice to this garden‑of‑eden‑like place at the end of the world. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to talk with Ras Landi and possibly other members of this amazing Rasta family and receive life teachings. I recommend staying at least two nights, as it’s a one‑hour drive from Port Antonio. Bring walking shoes, water boots, a bathing suit, and something warm for the evenings.

The location, beautiful nature, and the host are great. The only downside is that you can’t hang the shower; there’s only a handheld shower.
